Something spooky this way comes

Need something spooky to read for Halloween? Check out In Cold Blood by Truman Capote.

The book starts by introducing the Clutters, a cute little Kansas farm family. We follow them along their fun-filled day until wait...ARE THEY ABOUT TO GET MURDERED?

The story is super well-written and I've been instantly sucked into the mystery. I'm a little scared too because I like the main characters and really don't want them to get killed!

The narratives shift between the Clutters, various town members, and the killers themselves as the reader tries to figure out what the heck happened and why. I've got the heebie jeebies because this is all based on a true story. I really don't like reading it alone at night. Both dark and captivating, this true crime novel is truly terrifying.

(Also, the author is the same dude that wrote Breakfast at Tiffany's and he was bffs with Harper Lee, best-selling author of To Kill a Mockingbird. The two of them investigated this mystery together. What a pair.)
