2019's Best

I think I read more books this year than I ever have. I've been trying to push myself to read more, everything from celebrated classics to best-selling novels and trashy fiction. Each year, a few books stand out and are rated as the "best book" of the year. I haven't read them all, but I definitely plan to.

Here are some books that made a bang in 2019. It's not too late to check them out before New Years!

Honorable Mention: Where the Crawdads Sing Delia Owens

It was published in 2018 but it topped the The New York Times Fiction Best Sellers of 2019 list for 20 non-consecutive weeks this year.

My Personal Fave: Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine Gail Honeyman

Published in 2017, I recently read this book and it was absolutely amazing. Look out for my full review coming soon!

Great places to check out popular books making waves are The New York Times Book Review, GoodReads, The New Yorker, Publishers Weekly, Reese's Book Club, Oprah's Book Club, NPR's Book Concierge, and publishing houses.

Side note: 9/10 of these books were published by Penguin Random House, so they know what they're doing.

What's the best book you read this year?
